Bray Vista are to play their only gig this year in the Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray which will coincide with a pre-release of their new album "Let it Ride", out early 2009. This album was co-produced by Grammy Award winning Jim Lauderdale (famous for much production and singing work with the likes of Ralph Stanley, Lucinda Williams and Buddy Miller) and Leo Pearson (famous for his own production work with U2 and Elvis Costello) in Thomastown, Kilkenny. This 12-track album continues in the same vein of heartbreak but expect some new sounds..

When I Get There, written by Neil Tobin, was recorded in Westland Studios, Dublin, with producer Karl Odlum (David Kitt, Mic Christopher, Mundy). The lead song, River That Knows, uplifted by the beautiful pedal steel playing of Johnny Evans. No One To Talk To showcases the stunning vocal talents of Alison Byrne and features special guest violinist Zoe Conway.
